The ideal individual would have 4+ years of construction management experience, with at least 1 year of dedicated experience within commercial, multi-family, senior living and/or medical facilities. Experienced in assessing construction schedules, overseeing sub-contractors, managing inspections and processing change orders, RFI’s as necessary.
The Assistant Superintendent would be directing onsite construction for projects; responsible for assisting in project level field direction on a wide variety of projects from rough grade through project closeout. This would include managing a single or multiple ongoing projects throughout southern California marketplace. Must have the capabilities to direct onsite construction, manage trades, scheduling, RFI’s, submittals, materials procurement, personnel, and inspections for successful completion of projects from small tenant improvements to complex facilities buildouts. Average project scope of work will range from $5 to $20 million.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, and/or related industry experience. Strong construction management, verbal and written communication abilities. Must have MS Office suite and Project experience.
